Social Media Internship
Social Media and Graphic Design Interns help Sprouts with all things social. This includes scheduling posts for our Instagram and Facebook, writing copy, planning and creating Instagram stories, creating infographics, and taking photos for social pages.
These volunteers help further Sprouts’ mission by publicizing our markets and programs, expanding our customer base, and shining a spotlight on our vendors and artisans.
A minimum commitment of 10-15 hours a week for 12 weeks is typical, but alternative schedules will be considered. Interns can receive college credit for their services.
The internship programs run in 12-week cohorts. Cohort start dates for 2024 are January 16, April 10, July 1, and September 25. Deadlines for internship applications are two weeks in advance of the cohort start dates.
Market Ambassador Internship
Market Ambassador Interns are college students who work to promote Good Habits' missions, programs, and farmers' markets on their respective campuses. Typical duties include posting flyers, recruiting volunteers, speaking publicly about Good Habits' programs, and networking with similar food-focused organizations. This internship culminates with the planning and execution of one unique in-market event.
These interns help Good Habits increase its customer base, which in turn helps farmers earn more and generate more excitement for local food systems. They also help with volunteer recruitment, which ensures that Good Habits’ programs stay up and running.
Although work days and times will vary depending on students’ schedule and Good Habits planned events, interns are preferred to attend a minimum of 2 community events per month with a 6 month commitment. Alternative schedules will be considered! Interns can receive college credit in exchange for their services.
